Leandro Ariel Giri is a Chemical Engineer (UTN-FRBA) and holds a PH.D. in Epistemology and History of Science (UNTREF). He currently is a CONICET Postdoctoral Fellow at IIF-SADAF, researching the contribution of philosophy of science and technology to the design of public policies and its democratization, intersecting philosophy with education and social studies of science and technology.. This research topic is a continuation of his Ph.D. Thesis "Models for a Better World: an Historical and Epistemological Analysis of Global Models". His academic papers have been published in international journals, including Theoria, Arbor and the Iberoamerican Journal of Science, Technology and Society. He has also published chapters in various academic books, edited a collective volume and translated to spanish Thomas Kuhn's unpublished manuscript: "Scientific Development and Lexicon Change, published by SADAF in collaboration with the University of the Republic of Uruguay.
