We are a group of philosophers, mathematicians, and computer scientists from the University of Buenos Aires and CONICET, specialized in Philosophical and Mathematical Logic. Our workplace is the Institute for Research in Philosophy of the Argentinian Society of Philosophical Analysis (IIF (CONICET-SADAF)). Our main interests include paradoxes, non-classical logics, substructural logics, model theory, proof theory, and theories of truth.

In addition to our foundational research, we are deeply engaged with artificial intelligence, technological innovation, and the application of advanced logical methods to real-world problems. We strive to bridge theoretical excellence with practical impact, bringing the precision and depth of mathematical logic to the forefront of contemporary scientific and technological challenges.

Somos un grupo de filósofas y filósofos argentinos que buscamos reflexionar, desde una perspectiva analítica, sobre los alcances de la inteligencia artificial y el diseño de sistemas tecnológicos. Grupo de Evaluación de Modelos de Lenguaje e Inteligencia Artificial agéntica

Con el despliegue general de modelos de lenguaje en sistemas agénticos y aplicaciones interactivas, la evaluación cuidadosa de estos modelos se ha convertido en una necesidad central de investigación. Nuestro grupo se enfoca en desarrollar métodos claros y reproducibles para comprender el comportamiento de los modelos a través de diferentes tareas y contextos. Tenemos por objetivo caracterizar las fortalezas y limitaciones de los modelos con rigor, fundando nuestro trabajo en evidencia empírica más que en supuestos. Nuestra filosofía es que el progreso en inteligencia artificial debe estar apoyado por marcos de evaluación transparentes que den forma al desarrollo, guíen el uso responsable y ayuden a la comunidad a construir modelos que son confiables, interpretables y útiles.

TALK group is a research team focused on the problem of language meaning from a linguistic and philosophical perspective. Since its origin, the TALK group has been concerned with different aspects of the proper (meta-)semantic representation of meaningful linguistic expressions. In this respect, we have explored different issues in the philosophical and linguistic tradition involving, mainly, the analyses of proper names, indefinites, modals, expressives and evaluatives. The importance of such topics for current debates around the problem of compositionality, the semantics-pragmatics interface and the representation of truth-conditional and non-truth-conditional content is without a doubt at the heart of the linguistics and philosophy of language connection.
